About the lakes, well, they are four of them, they are all magnificent and unique in their way from the biggest to the most intimate :
Lake Geneva : A giant, on a coast of this lake, you could believe you are on the seaside. The lake is a border between two countries : France and Switzerland, and also between two mountains chains : the Jura and the Alps.
Lake Aix-les-bains : The largest french natural lake, my office, could be tricky to row on but also an absolute dream during the sunrises or sunsets ! You have to try it.
Lake Annecy : On the bucket list of any decent France’s visitor. Lake Annecy is absolutely charming, surrounded by very close and very high mountains it makes you feel like the lake is somehow the origin of all this height.
Lake Aiguebelette : The most intimate of the four, nothing like the three others, lake aiguebelette is calm, intimate, very peaceful but also very beautiful. The quietness of a morning in Aiguebelette is nothing like the epic rowing battle the lake saw in 1997 or 2015 when it hosted the World Rowing Championships.
